Surgical Procedures at Perry Hall Animal Hospital in Baltimore
Our hospital offers many general and specialty surgeries. These procedures require general anesthesia and we take many precautions to keep your pet safe before and after the procedure. These precautions include pre-operative blood screening, physical/wellness exams and listening to the heart and lungs. Constant monitoring of your pet’s vital signs while they are under anesthesia and during recovery are also necessary standards regardless of the type of procedure your pet is undergoing. We have registered veterinary technicians that assist our doctors and have extensive training in monitoring anesthetic procedures. Our veterinarians are very concerned with the pain management of your pet and will provide medication to control and alleviate any post surgery pain.
Our trained technicians work with the veterinarian to ensure your pet’s procedure and recovery go smoothly. Follow up phone calls are placed to ensure your pet is comfortable through their recovery at home.
